Alex Belle is a thirteen-year-old girl who lives in Bristol, United Kingdom. Classical ballet is her great passion. When her dance school puts on a presentation of Swan Lake, she works very hard to get the leading roles of the White Swan and the Black Swan.
But her life takes and unexpected turn when, under very strange circumstances, Alex falls into a lake and sinks helplessly into its depths.
